Thought I hit the jackpot yesterday with the pto cover I got. That was a drop in the bucket. With a buddy today who got a great deal on a John Deere 317, and as we were leaving town I see an Ariens by a guy's garage. So we stop. Asked guy if was for sale and could look at it he said absolutely. Ended up being a 71 new holland S-14h with a rear tiller, mower deck and a front end loader. Guy said he wanted $350. Let's just say I didn't hesitate. Sometime good things come to you when you least expect it. Another new toy to play with :) heheImageUploadedByTapatalk1430969029.116846.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1430969040.738362.jpg

With that kind of luck, you should buy a lottery ticket. Nice looking group. I bet that it interferes with your sleep(wanting to get it going). Good Luck, Rick

Guy said it ran about a year and a half ago...whatever that means haha! But needs battery and a few other things before can even try to start it. Does anybody recognize the loader. Way it's set up, looks like originally made for a deere and then modified to fit the Ariens.

Kwik-way loader. Looks to be in good shape except for the self leveling rods. Can't figure out how those would have gotten bent up like that. The company is still in business.

Yea, seems odd to me too. Guy said he couldn't figure out why they were bending unless he was putting to much weight in them. And he said once they got bent it just kept getting worse and worse. So being in business can I still get them new? Or is it easier to go to my welder and have him make a new set?

Does anyone in this forum have one on their Ariens GT that could show me what the correct mounting set up looks like...like I said looks like mines for a deere that they cobbled up to work on Ariens
