Cleaned up the engine. Blasted about 400 pounds of nasty off it. Then Jared and I painted the frame. Pics in album below.

Tore the engine down. Bottom end looks good. Blown head gasket just where I thought it was.  More pics in album below.

Thursday I got a call from the machine shop that the heads I sent were cracked. SO I told him I would send up another set. 

 

 

When Steph brought the cracked ones back it was pretty obvious what he found after he hot tanked them. The intake valve seats on 3 and 5 were cracked. 

 

Forecast was for monsoon weather so I needed shelter. I found a tent building on CL that I snagged and put up. Today we had huge rainfall and the inside of the tent is nice and dry.

That body looks solid and you are definitely having more fun than someone trying to pay off a $60K truck in 8 years...Make sure you got big stakes holding down that wigwam,,,I have a similar one with 8 3' stakes anchoring it.
