My Uncle has an old 50's Schwinn along with some other 50's era bikes in his basement. They had a thick layer of dust on them 30 years ago, and they are still there. I forgot the model of the Schwinn, but it's really desirable. He likes to look at the bikes once in a while since they bring back a lot of memories. He's over at the old engine club auction and I'm stuck at work today. A buddy of mine sent me some pics this morning of this mower that's at the auction.

Wow ! that is unique.

My bike is not very good for hill country being single speed with large tires but great down in the valley and the attention it brings is nice.

Well, my Uncle ended up coming home from the auction with a Panzer, Jesse. Now he has something small that he can bring to the old engine show to ride around.

The attention might be because of the man on the girlie bike.

I've often wondered why girls bikes have the lower tube..seems I remember that upper tube causing me pain as a chid

I know or at least believe historically it was because women wore dresses and could ride a bike easier with the lower bar
