I'm workingicon1.png on a troy bilt pushmower I cleaned the carb and the coil and it will start but dies instantly what else could it be ?

Still sounds like a fuel issue , make sure your lines are clear

Will it keep running if you give it a shot of carb cleaner while running?

I will give it a try. the owner swears it the auto choke but the air vane system seems to be working right.

Auto choke should be completely closed when engine is cold and the metallic components will heat it to fully open when running

Finished it just took one more carb cleaning I needed something to go right this week.
