My diff doesn't lock either, how do I check for rear end play?

These are not designed to be running for long periods with the differential fully engaged so if the knob backs itself out that is normal.

:hitting_self_roller:    Well then, no wonder the thing won't engage. The day I got it, the free-wheeling pin was rusted in and we took the wheel off to heat it up. I took the nut off to grease everything and the key busted off in doing so. I broke a nice drill bit off in there trying to drill it out. My dad was like, wrap a thin wire in the threads and it'll be good for now.  HMMMMM, maybe I should get around to fixing that!  :wallbanging:   Any recommendations on drilling out a hardened drill bit? Possibly heat?

I found a tech bulletin on the rear axle end play adjustment in the manual section, however I haven't had a chance to play around with adjusting it.

I was to late to the game with the tech bulletin, when I post things from my phone it doesn't always show the hole thread, my appologies
