Has anyone experienced a hydraylic leak on the transaxle just above the hydraulic filter? I thought it was the filter so I replaced it, but oil still drips off the filter when cutting the grass. The leak is on the right side of the transaxle facing the front of the unit. I hate dropping the transaxle, but that may be the only way. Appreciate any thoughts on this.

I don't have a Promaster, but just curious here, have you closely looked for the leaks source? Made sure everything that can leak is snug and tight? Cleaned and then checked the area with the machine running? I wouldn't jump into anything before taking the time to do a very careful inspection first.
