Sorry you were not able to make the last connection with your friend, so glad you did connect with his family. We know you will advise them fairly and honestly on what is there.
It sounds like you will be able to get at least one as a tribute.
P.

Dan, It is sad to hear of the loss of your dear friend, It is also a blessing that you two had the chance to reunite later in life. At least now the family has a honorable, trustworthy friend to oversee the disbursement of his collection.

Most of his stuff is fairly rough, but still has value, and he loved it all dearly & had a ball with his tractors. He could talk about them all day. Know anyone else like that? LOL I signed my name in the register, followed by "fellow garden tractor nut". I figured he got a kick out of that, watching from above.
At 72 he's not truly that old at all, but you'd have to know him, as he's lived the life of 3 men put together, and all by HIS rules! LOL
He was quite the rounder in his younger years!

Sorry to hear the news of the lose of your friend Daniel. I hope the family is doing ok. Having a memorial tractor to your friend is a neat idea. My Panzer tractor and my pickup truck were bought from a fellow named Otto who was just the neatest guy. I got to know him over about 4 years time, we were at a lot of tractor shows together and he was always having fun and having a good time. He passed away suddenly 3 years ago. When we go to a show now I just figure Otto is in the back seat of the truck riding along to another tractor show with a grin on his face.

The quality of the friends one makes in life are the true measure of a MAN.

Good job Daniel, and God Bless.
