Glad to see I'm not the only no shorts for me person here! Warm weather it's Tshirts and jeans come fall add a flannel shirt and I'm good to go. Not only is my wardrobe comfortable but also rather inexpensive making more room in my tool/tractor budget!

I was in Cuba about 30 years ago on holidays. I knew that men did not wear shorts there at all.  Our crew went for a walk around Santiago De Cuba ,,all us guys wearing shorts and the locals gawked at us like we were some sort of oddity. Cubans are likely more acceptable of men wearing shorts now as  tourists are now much more common sight.

I wear both depending on what I'm doing. I won't wear them working...I feel unprofessional. I like the Carhart's too but mostly the Dickies carpenter pants because there cheaper.

Glad to see I'm not the only one! I do have a pair of "gym" shorts that I wear in the evening after I shower and getting ready for bed. But I don't leave the house in them.

I agree on the rural king pants. I don't have any but I bought my dad a few pair and my wife's grandfather a few pair for Christmas last year.

I typically wear Ruff Hewn jeans from Elder Beerman for my "good" pants. Very comfortable and soft plus they are big enough to fit over top my boots.

Work gives us 16 pair of carhart jeans a year. I've been with the company for 11 years so thats 176 pairs of pants. I have them stacked up in my closet in sizes from 32 to 36. It looks like a department store. I probably have 125 new pair in there. As the ones wear out I throw them out and grab a new pair. I probably should donate them to a charity...

Those 36's are wanting to come my way :)

I hate shorts, don't like the look, or feel, and really hate sunburn on my knees and tops of my feet... I very rarely wear short sleeves either, I hate sunburn and will Get sick from too much sun, so I try and stay out of it when it's too hot. This is why I like to build things, it keeps me in the shop out of the hot sun, mind you I do not dis like the sun, I prefer sunny days to rain, but ok don't like the sun positioning I can get from it. So shorts are a big no for me.

I'm a shorts guy. All day, every day. They kinda go along with

my job, boats. Plus, I have very sexy legs. :(

I find them cooler. Cargo shorts cover the thighs and knees so

they don't sunburn. Never had the calves burn.

But, I won't wear Capri pants. :shoot2:

Leave them for the likes of Bieber. :shoot2:

I'll put on shorts when relaxing , I tend to get too dirty doing any type of work around the house to wear them and at work we have uniforms . Thinking back I never saw my grandfather in short nor my grandmother in anything but dresses ( no slacks for here )

Thinking back I never saw my grandfather in shorts

My grandfather had two outfits. Jeans with a white t shirt or a button down shirt and khakis. That was it.
