John deere 140

My john deere 140 has a new ticking sound. Not cool! I had taken it in last year had a gasket repaired behind the flywheel. Could it be the flywheel Coming loose. Has never had any other problems other then some little maintenance issues no biggie tho.

Ps the guy that fixed it has 40 plus years lg repair and sales. (Not saying that they didn't do anything wrong and make a mistake).

Any other possibilities please let me know I want to use my baby!

hard to say what it can be... can you hear the sound, when it's idling or when it's working or both.

Can't hear it when idling until the engine warms up then it's all the time. That is why I think it might be the valves but don't really know
