Thanks for the help on freeing the valves. The intake valve is working correctly and I can move the exhaust by force. The engine will rotate app. 1/2 way before being stopped by the stuck pushrod on the exhaust side. It appears to be in the down position. Have sprayed it with WD 40. It is a 3 HP Wisconsin on a Bolens B6A5S. Am I going to have to remove and dis-assemble the engine?

Do you know the model of the engine?
I may be able to find a partslist for you if you do.

It wouldnt hurt to take the engine apart. while you got it open you can then inspect the engine's components.

A part's list would be great. I'll get you the model number later today after work. It's a 1949-1956
3 HP Wisconsin I think. Thanks for the help. (road1949)
