Have this, cranks, no spark. Plug wire from under tin, thinking mag, yet has wire on points box not to anything. Should it have coil? Where it mount? Is capacitor on top, no hook up.

That's an interesting one! The shielding is different, too! I was surprised to see it's a 181.

I couldn't read the spec. #.

I would say that it is from a late 110 guessing '71-74 range.  Does it run?

Run, don't know, no spark. Still not sure if coil is needed, as noted plug wire comes up from under the shroud, so think it is Mag?? But find a condensor and wire from points on outside not connected to things. Don't see the place coil would have mounted, and still don't think it needs one. Yet, why is there points if a mag?  So just lost there.  I got numbers off it now. Oil plug is in the bottom and won't sit flat on floor, makes it hard to mess with. Cranks fine, seems to have compression.

Model K181S

Serial 2155665

Spec 30424D

Carb stamped with B231738 on top by choke end.  Looks like a K carb, but don't see Carter or anything else on it.

I'm just taking to sale and thought should raise price if off green tractor, ha! :smilewink:
