Had a problem with what I thought was gout in my elbow, went to a walk in med center today. They drained it, saw it was infected, prescribed antibiotics. Then the fun began! He injected cortisone which I've had many times. But this time he included lidocaine to keep it from hurting. I'm allergic to lidocaine and almost immediately got faint, dizzy and naucous, BP crashed to 78 over 46, pulse was 48, oxygen saturation dropped into the 70's and I was in trouble right now! After some IV fluid and an hour to get the stuff out of my system, I lived! The End....NOT! LOL

We just don't know when the dragon will be at the door.

Wow, I hope they noted your records that it will do that to you.

Glad you pulled thru!  No lasting effects?

If this is the first time, glad you pulled trough, if not and was on file I would go after the SOB for not checking before hand.

Double check for aftermath effects.
