Not into movies as long as I have the History Channel to watch.  And of course FOX on Sunday afternoons for NASCAR.

We used to have a rental place where I worked. When the store relocated, it didn't get the foot traffic, so they sold that end of the business to a company if Fla.
Ffwd about a year and a half, all the video stores had DVD's and no VHS to speak of.

We got out just in time.

We also have a repair guy who has seen a lot of changes othe last 30 years. We won't even take in VHS players anymore because we can't get parts, dont want our customers wasting their money.

We have two VHS players in the house. I have a few relatives that copied their VHS tapes over to DVD and then gave us their tapes. We have boxes and boxes of VHS. My daughter loves them. I don't miss renting them though.

Just think one day kids wont even know what it means to "roll the window down"

My old ranger has crank windows.  The 5 year old was in there and she asks me to put her window down.  I told her I can't reach the crank and she looked at me like I was crazy.  I had to explain to her that it didn't have a button it had a crank on the door.  For the next month she was obsessed with rolling her window down before she got in the truck since it had a crank.  She said "ALL CARS SHOULD HAVE THESE, THIS IS FUN!"

Can't say I miss Video rental store or VHS tapes and players. Now a days it's iTunes and Netflix for rentals but mostly we watch a lot of older movies and TV series on Youtube. I Rip all my CDs to the computer and play them back using a DAC. Bluetooth from my iPod touch to the car stereo as well. I still listen to a lot of radio though.

Like many of you I don't really miss the video stores.  It was always a pain to get them back in time.  Also all to many times we would rent a movie get home expecting a fun night watching a movie and the tape or CD was messed up from the previous renter.

We have quite a few VHS tapes and I have been trying to convert them to digital which hasn't been going to well. I would hate to see them just sit there and not be able to watch some of them, but I fear the tape had deteriorated.

You mean the channel that used to be History?  Now its about pawn stars, storage shows, big foot, aliens and sometimes history?
