Never one to watch cartoons as a kid, John found out the hard way that the Acme Anti Gravity Boots were a scam. Beep! Beep!

No lie, this happened during an Ag class while I was in high school. It was my cousin. He landed on the floor laughing as he landed in the center of the tables in the round. Needless to say it was off the Principal's office for him. Actually I'm sure things were much worse for him when he got home.

Seen it happen for real when I was a kid.  My great grandfathers house was still in the family, but had been abandoned for years and years.  My great uncle decided he was going to tear it down so we all go together to see if there was anything worth salvaging inside.  My aunt was upstairs and we were all in the dining room.  We hear crack, creak, crack, crunch and my aunt came through the ceiling and landed on the floor about 5 feet away from us.

She was fine, but and we had a good laugh after we seen she was ok.

I've read that coming out of the closet can be quite tough.

That's gotta hurt. He probably straddled the joist.
