Have a 1050 that the transmission wants to hang up when free wheeling.  The pin is out and clear of the hub. Gear shift is in neutral.  Lot of times it will roll forward but when it starts to come back it stops dead.  Worse when front wheels are turned.  Differential lock hub has been removed, cleaned and back together with no pressure.  No difference. Going straight back is usually fine but when you try to turn the wheels it will stop the back wheels dead.  If you  hold the clutch down it is OK.  When running the gears all work like they are supposed to.  Any idea as to what is causing this situation ? ?

Have you ever adjusted your rear axle end play?

NO. Have not got that far on it yet. Just got it running right today. Would excess end play cause the free wheeling to bind up?

Thanks guy.  Have to pull the motor in the G16 this morning to get at the starter and drive shaft.  Will try and get the axel end play taken care of after that little chore.
