DSCN0322.jpg So this tractor poped up on CL late yesterday. It was listed at free junk for your yard. lol
We all like free junk right? I went to pick it up today. It was a long way away from me, so I took a full day off work and went after it. He said it wouldnt run. Said the motor was shot and needed a rebuild. Wen I got home, I put the choke linkage on it and jumped it off. I drove the tractor off the trailer and cut about 1/3 acre with it. The briggs twin is a bit noisy, but it runs well. Im proud of the new free tractor. Enjoy the pics. Casey be patient lol. ( he was asking for pics before the laost post was uploaded yet)

Looks really good. Great catch, glad it runs also!
Just make sure the muffler remains intact. If it gets a hole in it, the valve seats will cool at a different rate & eventually loosen up. The repair is both temporary and a pain to do.

Looked at the pics a second time, what's the bracket on the back for? Is that a rototiller mount bracket or a different kind of sleeve hitch than I've seen before?

Alan, That is for a blower with motor attachment to collect leaves and grass, and then blow them into the trailer or bagger. I had one on a WH I bought a few years ago. I haven't found out what brand yet, but thats what it's for.
