I bought my Bush Hog JBII a year ago tomorrow, I am finally getting ready to get it up and running!

I am in the process of power washing it right now, and the replacement engine, a cast iron single cylinder 16hp Briggs will be here some time next week. :dancingbanana:

Where's all the butchering equipment?  You really need a rendering cauldron. :D

Good luck on your project.   Rick

Here are a few before and after pictures. Not good to run a hydro with the fins all plugged up like this! They are there to help dissipate heat. And that is important!

Chris, it's likely that oil is seeping past the seal on the rockshaft on top of the hydro pump.  That's a common leak on these.  The bottom side of rockshaft has a solid plate where the ID tag is, so as long as it's tight, it usually doesn't leak under there.
