LX188 wiring diagram need.

I am In need odd an lx188 wiring diagram. No crank but will start and run if you jumper the starter. Pretty sure it is the switch. But wanna rule everything else out first.

JD information is out there but the company discourages sharing it.  For giggles try a dealer and when he tells you that you will need a $150 repair manual don't be surprised.Perhaps someone will have what you need and chime in..

 

Brake or Neutral switch and PTO switch are the usual JD interlocks to start a tractor..

 

There may be a Safety relay in there as well.  The best way is to chase down the Start wire from the Ignition switch and with the PTO off and the parking brake set test for voltage along the path down to the solenoid.  This is the best way to trouble-shoot your problem.  A 12v test light works well here and another set of hands is nice if you can..  :goodl:

When you need parts for that 188 I have a Kawasaki 17hp  water cooled motor and hydro rear end off of one plus assorted other parts.

Do you have any 48" deck parts for the lx188 or whatever else they fit.
