not sure what  I am doing posting pics? trying    Work in progress. I think I got it, I have been having charging problums on my Chief 1000 w/ snowblower living on the Canadian border, I can see the Thousand Island Bridge from here I used a batt charger. Very long driveway, do enough to get out, charge, cleanup and parking lot later. I was given an Ariens walk behind used it once bad tranny, carb issues not fun. Got the Chief going hood bolts hold the best part on the walk behind hee hee, 2- 50 lb tractor weights another freebe. Watertown, NY got the record low in the 48 last winter -36 degrees I'm 20 miles north. Still cold to get much done on the tractors here have several. The Chief will be fixed soon. Bolens G-14 with a heavy unknown plow blade first got it running with a bobbin system I made. I didn't get it running with a blower in time to try it pics on my area, THANK YOU ALL. the bolens lives too

That should have a starter/generator setup(often written s/g). In our Manuals Section is a set of instructions on diagnosing and repairing the s/g charging systems. I will try to find it for you and post it in this thread later. You can also download( limit 3 for free per day) and save the tractor and engine manuals. Good Luck, Rick
