This thread is answer questions from Mowerman2 about the different tire-rim set ups that the Large Frame A/C- SIM tractors had as options.

Great pics guys.  Wish it was a tad closer!  I would, and will, make it up there someday.  Can anyone point me in the direction of the man driving what appears to be an Allis Chalmers 720.  Running duals on one side, and a single down in the furrow.  I have one, and would love to know where he got the rear rims for it.  They are usually fitted with the really wide turf/ag tires, that wont be good for plowing.  Thanks to anyone that can help me out!

This is info from Simple Tractor,

REAR TIRE OPTIONS . . . three selections to mix or match with front tire options; high flotation for difficult off-the-road traction conditions (31 x 15.5-15) . . . turf for lawn work and light landscaping (29 x 12.00-15) . . . Ag where ground working has the priority (8-16).

FRONT TIRE OPTIONS include three separate choices; turf (20 x 8.00-10) where primary use is lawn maintenance; high capacity (6.90/6.00-9) for use with front end loaders, blades, snow throwers; Ag (4.00-12) for open ground and field work.

The 8-16Rear tire/rim  along with the 4.00-12 Front tire combo was called the Mold Board Plow tire option.

Thanks Brian!!  I actually bought a set of those on Ebay, but the rims and tires arent in that great of shape.  I saw AC720's in the pics and video, and thought they looked great.  I also thought they looked a bit more narrow than what I have, and what you shared here.  My poor old 720 is a project that has taken way too much time to get going.  Thanks again!

I'll try to get a couple photos of our 4140 Sim with this tire set up tomorrow.

Here's the tire set up that we have on our 4140. The rear tires are 12.5L- 15 Ag tires and the front tires are 4.00- 12 Tri-ribs.

Great idea making a thread on this topic. I like your setup too. I'm traveling to a tractor show right now, and when I get back, I'll post some other pics. Thanks for sharing!
