So I'm just seeing if there is a right direction I can be pointed to.

simpletrACtors.com, look at that site for info.

Can you upload a picture of the driveshaft and engine's flywheel coupling ?

Yeah I can take some pictures tommorow. It's the same coupling as a squire 12 just about 3 or four inches longer. And thanks I will check that site out.

Trust me, this is not hopeless in any way, forget the serial number, useless for MW, use the engine and gear box to track down the model. I have a Monkey Wards Garden Mark Squire 9. Lucklly I have the manual for it.

The Gilson rebadged MW tractors are well built and tough and fall under the same group as Gravely.

Jesse, these are Gilson built M/W, not Simplicity built he's working on.

Both my 12 and 15HP hydro's have a drive shaft of 21 3/4" long, these are the older square hood tractors. Hope that helps. I can sell you one of them.

Happens, no worries. We are human with bad eyes :D

I am coming up dry thus far between work and the web on seeking out the Gilson type, hopefully the Simplicity site yeils better results for him.
