I don't know Dave, it looks so nice and the radio, I would break a promise for it too.

I am woundering what year it is. I am guessing 1969 or older. It has the tractor in the top triangle on the front decal between the head lights. Noel

That looks pretty good Dave.

I agree, that radio needs to go. Not much on AM anyways.

I can't believe someone would butcher those 2 holes into the

hood, just to make a side terminal battery fit.

Some people should have their tools taken away. :wallbanging:

I hope she runs good for you Dave.

Not sure who you "promised"   Is that a "promise" like politicians give or was it more the type that will require heavy negotiation ?

Looks to me like that Massey is worth rolling up your sleeves for getting to the root of that "promise" and its potential ramifications...Good Luck !

Dave, I would buy it just to get the radio, those are very hard to find and quite valuable. Good looking tractor for sure even with the butchered hood.

I am planning to break a promise of not purchasing any more garden tractors.

I would suggest that you, GL, and whoever start a new forum for people who are quiting GTs. It could be a great support for guys who are embarrassed to admit the love affair is over.

What is the function of the impromptu port holes in the hood? Buick wannabe?
