Thanks for the pics, they are great. I love old pics like that.
Thank Dad for his Service for me.

It was Grandpa who was in the Army and got the tractor from the General over him.

Okay, so it is different than ours. Still a cool looking tractor.
Have you ever seen one like ours?

Yours was built after Reo was bought out by Wheelhorse. Chuck's right on his being built by Bready. There was also a Reo rider built by Page before the Bready connection.

Here are some pictures of a A-51 Wheelhorse with very similar features to our Reo-matic. This photo was taken at a show.

Thanks for the history lesson Doug of the Reo-matic progression. I didn't know about the Page connection.

Sorry, Chuck for high-jacking your thread.

That is so cool! I love old photos like that. You should go back to that spot (if handy) and take pictures from the same distance and angle, for a then and now shot.

Hi. I was browsing around and found your post with the pictures of your Dad and his old reo tractor. I am an avid Oliver collector, but ten years back i stumbled upon the exact same tractor. Been buried in my shed ever since, along with the Reo sanow thrower i discovered a couple years later. Ran the last time i dug it out, has no mower deck though, built like a tank. Very interesting machine...
