Just bought a Case 210 yesterday at an auction for $180, will get pics tomorrow.  My tractor has Case yellow fenders and hood and the rest is orange, would this have been factory, as most 210's I've seen were all orange?

That is an OEM paint scheme.  They were painted like that to match the large farm tractors.

Had this tractor turning over with the starter-generator today, found out it has no spark, so I pulled the points and discovered they are not the greatest, might try cleaning them tomorrow or may just buy a set, gonna install a new condenser as well.  I had to "hotwire" it to get it to turn over, a trip to TSC and a new solenoid should fix that.

Why does the hood say hydraulic drive? It's a standard....

Been wondering that myself, one decal says it and one doesn't.

Worked some more today, got a new solenoid, and condenser and installed them, lightly filed the points and reinstalled them, checked gap, ok.  All this and a few colorful words and no spark or and still had to hotwire it, thinking key switch may be bad, also think I need a new plug wire, but all that has to wait for payday as I'm broke.

Small update on this tractor, finally got spark(some moron removed the "hot wire" to the ignition switch), still have to hotwire it to get it to turn over though so a new switch is in it's future.  Finally hooked a temporary gas tank to it, turned it over and found the hose that the goes between the pump and carb was bad, so after fixing that I got the tractor to run on its own for about 30seconds before the fuel pump quit, have one on order from ebay which should get here next week. Stay Tuned!

Nice score $180! Bit of work and you'll have a great tractor there

Yeah, I thought so, got the fuel pump the other week, but haven't got it installed, after that the next big job is pulling and cleaning the gas tank(been using a temporary tank), saw a plastic tank on ebay that says it's for a 210, maybe I'll go that route instead.

That color is from the early to mid 70's. That is the currect color for the older tractors. Case didn't start the power red paint until around 1982-1983.

Thanks for clearing that up, I haven't looked up the serial number yet to see exactly what year.

The tan is called desert sunset and the orange is called power red. I have a 155,190,210,and a 212 of that color sceem. I also have a 220,and a 446 both of those are in the early 80's and are power red with white wheels.

I did some checking on the newer model tractors and I was wrong in saying they were painted power red. They are flamboyant red. All the paint is still available at your local international dealer. Sorry for the wrong information.
