Good luck with it. The 5.3 is a VERY potent engine. I loved the performance I got from my 06 extended cab 4x4 Sierra with the 5.3. Only thing I didn't like is it started to get the infamous 5.3 oil consumption problem a year after I bought it. It would burn two quarts a month. I would REALLY watch the oil level closely and keep it changed every 3000 miles religiously. With the miles on the one you are looking at it is right in the range when they start to burn it. I am not trying to scare you away as I loved my Sierra, just something you should be aware of and watch.
Something I find interesting is the full size trucks now days get as good or better mileage as a mid size does and will do more while doing it. My Sierra got 19 mpg on the highway while pulling a trailer and 21-22 empty. My Duramax powered 3/4 ton will get 26 on the highway with no load and 15-16 pulling our 35 ft 5th wheel camper.
