We had them here back in the 80s. They all disappeared at some point. I remember preferring their donuts to Tims. Up here it's Tim Hortons everywhere, even in small towns there may be more than 1 of them. In larger areas you get Starbucks and another chain called Robins. A lot of cafe type non chain coffee shops all over the city now. It's like the new beer. Instead of going for a beer, people seem to be drinking more coffee now.

And for some reason the trendy coffee shops seem to think we should feel honoured to pay $3.64 for a cup of ordinary coffee, no refills either. I love my A&W; no fancy doughnuts, but all the coffee I want and they make the best burger and onion rings in town!

Nope, just a pic off the Google.

If I had some, I'd probably wonder what I was thinking. Tastes change, I have found out.

MTF? After what happened a few years ago I would never have expected that (not something good to drum up, many here know what I mean) I myself rarely go there still, as a result. John @ Reliable used to be a regular there as well....

Last I heard, John is taking a break from tractors for a while.
He said he would stop in sometime and catch us all up to speed.
