I'll have time to think more about it since I'll be away most of next week

Got the tire back today $172 with tax for the tire foam filled . Used it a little grading the driveway . Really didn't notice any difference . Now the next problem s/g not charging , I have to look more into it

Many years ago at work they tried putting foam filled tires on the golf carts that we used. With those light vehicles the stiffness of the tires was very noticeable. The one major problem we found was the extra weight of the tires was causing the axles to break. The axles for golf carts are not as strong those on GT. Another thing we found was that on electric golf carts the run time was greatly reduced.

I asked the fellow that dropped the tire off at work yesterday if the foam filled was heavier vs calcium filled , he said " yes " but not sure on how much . I'm not sure I would put foam in any other of my tractors . This one stand a better chance of picking up nails when I take it to my son's house ,

Used the tractor to turn over the compost pile last night , neighbor dumped of a lot of grass clippings to mix in . It seemed like the foam filled tire spun more in the damp mud , the dirt stuck between the lugs , ag tires with Chevron tread . This is something that Noel brought up in his reply not a big concern but something to think about if someone was going to use them for field work more then the little I use mine for.
