Nice to be able to have the house door open with screen closed and listen to the birds chirpping. They are happy. Warm enough to do that now. First day of fishing here, don't know how they got to there fishing spots with all the snow left, but I am sure some did. Noel.

Last spring, a Robin made a nest on the brick ledge of our bedroom (2nd floor) window. After 3 eggs hatched and they "flew the coop" we cleaned the nest away from the ledge.

Last weekend, I found a new nest, same place and 4 Robin eggs this year!!

The snow is finally off the lawn! I saw about 40 robins scratching around under the apple tree picking up the last of the fruit. They'll have headaches tomorrow, as fermented as those apples are, lol

Funny you mention that as I have been watching the robins do the same thing to my apple tree and thought the same thing, lol.

yep, the birds are building nests, I've catched two good trouts (tasted delicious after the long time of fishing abstinence) and yesterday it was 26 °C in the Frankfurt area (150 km away from my home). All the blossoms at the trees - spring started well!
