When lowered, it tilts back so it's easier to get the forks under something. When I raise it, it tilts forward to keep things from sliding off the back. I accomplished this by raising the top link pin location.

 
 
 
The amount of tilt depends on how you adjust the top link. The longer it is, the more tilt you get.

very cool ! I think I want one ! how much weight will it haul ?

I think more than the tractor will lift! My 'forks' are 1" thick bar stock! Here's the build.
