Does anyone know where I can find a parts diagram or breakdown for the Bendix Zenith Carb that are on the Wisconsin engines?  The only ones I have found show how to adjust them, etc. but no parts breakdown.  Main item I am after is the spring on the float.  I have a 8.5 hp that has a spring on it and a 10 hp that does not.  Is this spring necessary?  Which way is the correct way to install it, pressure to help hold the float up or hold it down ?  Thank much for your time and valued advice.

The Carb kit I sent you yesterday will have the breakdown in it.

The spring was used on some models of this carb but the plain L63 which was most common on the Bolens line did not have the spring. To be honest I dont think you really need it but its still available from the factory.

Thanks much Brian. I think rather than have it in wrong I will leave it out. If I have problem with overflow can go back and install it later. The drawing really don't show which way it is to go but may be in the written instructions.
