Well I didn't fix the whole problem, turns out now that the reverse gear has all the teeth chipped off it. Possibly others. Anyone know of a place to find new or used gear set for a Gk transmission?

If you got part numbers for the specific ones you need I'm sure one of us site sponsors should have a new one laying around.

I may have some used ones gathering dust somewhere. If nobody else can help you out, let me know and I will search.

Thanks guys, I just sent the part numbers to Rick, 1718782 and 1718825. I checked a couple of the sponsors and sent them emails, I still have yet to get the thing apart! Very challenging in my small shed! Once I get this thing apart and get the gears out ill post pics and info.

That's a shot through the inspection hole behind the shifter mechanism, I hope that helps.
