Who remembers when PK's switched from left hand decks to right hand decks??

or

was it the other way around?

   right hand decks  to left hand decks ??

 

trying to find blades for a rh 48" pk deck!

They switched to right hand  in 1985 when they went to the fiberglass models.

85 correct on bigger models. Was a Simplicity made deck. Might have to look for that brand to fit?  Think I've seen blades offered for the PK? Most are 48" left hand tho, and the bigger 60" are not made any more that I have found anyway.  Might have been earlier on the smaller plastic kings made from 82 and up that had right hand, but not sure. Also not sure what deck sizes those had. This is the 1200 series.

mine is a "1989" 1618,,    fiberglass ,  the deck is 48", right hand discharge,,  blades i've seen on ebay, and else wheres are all left!

If you guys find a manual for the right hand, i'd love to down load it,, right now i'm using a manual for a left hand,,  not to much diff ,
