Bolens HT23 Garden Tractor with Brantly front-end loader and backhoe. 1980 I think.
I’ve had it for around 16 years and it has done some great work for me in the past.
I have a bag of manuals for all of it.
I had it running around 4 years ago when I took the pictures. Did a little digging to make sure it still worked because it was sitting idle for 4 years, and it did work.
There was a carburetor or fuel pump problem at the time because I had to put vice grips on the fuel hose to restrict the flow a bit for it to run right. Then I couldn’t get it to run later and I just don’t have the time anymore.
It’s been sitting in the garage since.
It has a newer backhoe bucket.
It has a newer hydraulic pump coupling.
It always operated fine when it ran.
It’s a great vintage garden tractor with lots of life left in it.
I don’t think it needs a lot of work to get it running again.
I’m asking $3000.00 for it or any best reasonable offer and you would have to come pick it up.

It is located in Quaker City near Cambridge Ohio 43773. I live about 2 ½ hours from where the tractor is. So, you’d really have to be interested in it to have a look at it.

The tractor looks to be in great shape from all the way down here.

I'd like to have one just like it whenever I have the time and space to play with it.

Was it purchased from Lashley's tractors in Quaker City? I know they were a Bolens dealership years ago. My grandfather purchased his HT20 from them back in the 70's. I would love to buy your tractor, but I'm already tractor poor with my HT23, HT20 and three tube frames. Good luck with the sale. I live about an hour or so from Seneca Lake.

No, I think it was purchased used in northeastern Ohio by my late brother maybe 15 years ago. I sold it today. Thanks.
