Its probably just me, but I have a heck of a time navigating our member map. Does anyone else have trouble with it ? if not let the Hankg bashing begin I'm sure I will enjoy your comments thanks Hank.

Same as navigating a Google map.  it just starts further out or expanded.

It's been a while since i checked out the member map. Amazing how it has grown since I last looked at it. It starts out fully expanded since the member base is spread out across continents. You can left click and hold to drag the map around and use your scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom in and out.

Mouse wheel to zoom in and out.  Left click and drag to move around.

If you computer or internet is on the slow side, move slowly.  Scroll in a couple clicks, wait, scroll in a couple clicks wait.  Same with dragging around.

I'm on a 5mbps on a 1 year old dell craptop and I can't just slam it around.  It wants to lag and shudder then I get lost.

So who uses Google maps?  They are usually 2 years or more behind time and wrong about 50% of the time.  HANKG enjoy the site but I wouldn't waste my time on the member map.  Tried three times to get my location posted and never happened.  I know there are several others from Iowa that are not shown either.

Hank, I've visited the map at different times over the years.  I just went back and looked at it today with another member's post.  It has changed now and then.  I still like to see who is where.

chieffan, the staff here is first rate.  PM one of the mods or admins and I'm sure they'll have you on the map in no time.

Give me a zip code and I'll put you in there! Let the others know! Send it in a PM if you want!
