I installed a program that is damaging my computer. My antiviral protection program Kaspersky states everything is fine but when I go to uninstall the malware GunRox 0,05 it is not on the list but the file is still on my computer. Research results in a bunch of website with uninstaller that when looked up are more malware sites. Is there any trusted free programs out there I can download to check and clean my system without damamging it any further.

I downloaded SpyHunter which turned out to be another BS site, I uninstalled it but the computer is very buggy.

Help,...

I found the GunRox uninstall and uninstalled but I do not trust it, running Kaspersky right now and searching for fragmented files and left overs,

Use malwarebytes. If you need me to I can download it and put it on the server so you know it is a clean download. With having a virus it may redirect you to a different site that is malicious. Here is a link to their official website: https://www.malwarebytes.org/
