We have seen them here as well this last week. You might have to put out extra feed for them to keep them going this year. I am thinking we won't be having much of a spring this year. By the time the snow is gone we will be into May for sure. We have another 10cm coming tonight and tomorrow. I hope that's all it is. Last time they said 10cm it ended up being 20. At least it is starting to melt now in the sun, even when the temp. is barely above freezing.

I saw my first one this morning too. I thought, "there is an end in sight."

And then it started snowing.

You're going to have a muddy spring out there.

Woke up this morning to 1 1/2" of snow and 29* F. Saw our first robins a week ago, during the warm stretch we had. Supposed to be cold the rest of today and tonight with another chance of 2" of snow overnight. I know spring is on it's way but I just wish it wouldn't continue to make U turns heading back south. have a good day and week.                                                                                                                                                                                             Roger

It's a fluke! It blew in on a strong south wind with that last storm.

I love the first robin of spring. I prefer a sausage gravy mix with wild rice, but do wish they were a little meatier.

Looks like a photo of bigfoot.  That may be a robin in the picture but its so blurry you can't tell what kind of bird it is.

Just playing with ya, spring is certainly here in my area.  We are now receiving the april showers all week!  First day in the mid 70s and its supposed to rain all day, with thunderstorms in the evening.

Although we had a nice steady rain last night, and I slept like a kitten!  I laid down at the camp, listened to rain ping of the tin roof and passed out and didnt' want up till my alarm went off.
