I need a good up close photo of 68 Super 12 shift plate, so I can have one reproduced. Mine is faded beyond recognition. Can any one help? Thanks in advance.

Mods what is going on here? Everytime I edit my post the word "shift" is posted as the word "poo" I think maybe I got it to change after 4 edits.

I'll check how good mine is tomorrow in the light. If it's legible I'll send you a pic. I'll let you know. I know the one on my Suburban 12 is crap. I haven't been on my Super 12 in a long time and I don't remember what kind of shape it's in.

I don't have a super, but several members do. Hope someone has a good pic.
As for the auto edit... The only way it would do that was if you were leaving the f out of shift. The bad word filter would've hit on the typo and edited in "poo"

Go to the Sears 68 parts list and you can see a picture of it and there is one on Ebay for a bid of $1.00 and ends in 3 days

Thanks for all the help so far. The 69 is different from the 68 shift plate. I need a photo of the 68 so I can have it reproduced.

I can only give you an idea, my plate is in pretty rough shape itself and hard to get a good pic in the back of the barn with no lighting.

you can see the brown is wood grain effect.

It says "depress clutch before shifting" across the middle of the pattern.

The speeds across the bottom are

                     1              2            3            R

L                 .75            1.4         2.4         .95

H                 1.9            3.6        6.0          2.3
