we'll hear I go again, I have replaced everything and as soon as it warms up it dies. I tested the new coil and found that the secondary side is not working. I bought this real kohler coil on eBay. I think I am going to have to eat this one,
One more reason not to deal with eBay. 150 bucks is hard to swallow!
I need to find a new coil, any help would be great.

Was this one a new coil or used?

I have never been too keen on buying any electrical parts used.

Some use a Harley coil, The original Kohler is still available but more expensive.

It was a brand new coil. I can't think of any thing else that would cause this problem.

The coil from older Harleys that LOOKS just like the Kohler coil IS just like the Kohler coil and is MUCH less expensive.

That's why when buying on ebay, you need to look at the seller very closely, but you know almost anywhere you go there's no returns on electrical parts, that would be hard to swallow for sure

Is this the same thing that happened before?

Before you keep throwing coils at it, I would make sure something else isn't sucking the goodness out of your coils.
