After a little trading with another collector, I ended up with this 990. It looks complete and I don't think it'll take much to get it running. Gas smells good in the tank. Maybe just a tuneup. Also has the 42" deck and 3 point. As Asa bonus I found a set of 27x8.50-15 ags at the bottom of his tire pile. I've heard these are hard to find and grabbed them at a good price. The last pic is a Brinley 3 point cultivator I grabbed. It's been cobbled on quite a bit. I'm more looking at it for the parts in another future project.

Anything I should look at on the 990? Seems solid. A set of front tires and a clean up.

Also a pic of the ags I got. Goodyear super terra grip. They are in pretty good shape. Seems someone welded tabs on. I'm guessing got duals? I may just swap these over to the other wheels instead of messing with these wheels.

Eric, check the frame on the right side under the running board for a square hole in the frame. A lot of times there will be stress cracks in the corners of the hole that you will want to repair. You are going to  be really impressed with how well these tractor can do anything. And they plow very well. Great deal on getting some Ags, very hard to find.

I have never seen one like that before and think it's been modified to fit the tractor. TSC sell CAT "0" center links that will work just fine for you.

Nice find looks good & complete. You might want to lock those AG'S up somewhere safe:)

I've already had offers haha. Gonna put some locking lugs on so I don't get left on blocks at plow days!

That 990 looks pretty well maintained. Most of them I see are in pretty rough shape. I think there is a service manual, or at least an operators manual in the Manuals section of the forum.

Is there anyway to tell the year? I have a couple serial number plates on the back. Would those help?

I suppose I could adopt the 990, I mean you already gave up the Springfeld.
