Does anyone know where I can find briggs serial no. info. Dad just bought a Simplicity with briggs on it, we are not sure what HP it is. Serial # is 326437 0222-01 7704 We think.

I like those Simplicity Landlords. I am pretty sure we have a brochure or two that has them in it. Speaking of brochures, I need to get some more to hang on the walls :D

Here is a key to the post 1965 model numbering system. Click Here According to this, 326437 is the model number, 0222-01 is the type code, and 7704 is the date code and it appears to be incomplete. You need 2 more digits for the date code to make any sense. Hope that this helps.

I found dad a hood and a nice steering wheel today. Now all we have to do is get the tractor picked up and home....
