I need a full size 4x4. I've got this 93 I bought last summer the trans went out back in the fall and it's been parked since due to title issues. Got that mess straightened out. I was going to part the truck out because I hate the interior.

The body is decent and several parts are new including tires.

I will be pulling the body lift off and going back to stock.

Here's why I'm crazy. I just bought a complete cab less seats for 250 and I plan on doing an interior swap. Electrical is all different so lots of harness work.

It's only got 77k on the odometer so it's clean.

The color. Headliner, trim, dash, all maroon. I also don't like have to reach to the center for the radio. The dash is cracked and broken in several places.

I'd leave it be. You've had enough frustrations in your life. Let your "crazy" just adjust.

My previous crazy was lack of financial stability. I'm good to go now lol. I also enjoy electrical and have a second vehicle so I'm not pressured to get this done.

Well, this will be interesting.
With computers the way they are, the interchangeability will probably be an issue there, but (as with everything) I'm sure it is doable with enough time, money, and research.
Good luck and I hope it's a fun project for you.

I have a 93 like that, you can stick your hand through almost every body panel, frame is flaking off with rust. The cancer sure got to it pretty bad. It was an truck used to salt lots in the winter for landscape compnay.

yours looks really nice, someone took decent care of it.

Might be easer to swap the whole cab and then deal with the wiring.I got a 95 and the dashboard is an sob to work on.Also watch out around that air bag you don't what that blowing up in your face

Yes Tahoe. The cab corners are shot but that's about it. If I swap the cab I still have to deal with the wiring. when the dashes are out I'll have access to everything I need to get to. The air bag doesn't go into the 93 as it doesn't have them. To be honest I haven't decided if I am even going to swap steering columns. It all depends on what the sub frames look like. I think they differ a little.

Got the cab loaded up this morning. For less than $350 I got the cab, a fender, front bumper, grill, and headlights.

This dash came out in about 15 minutes. It's nice having one that wasn't broken.

uploadfromtaptalk1428180754785.jpg

I was worried that the duct work wouldn't for. It all lined up thank goodness. I cab not use the steering column from the 97 as the mounts are totally different.

Here it is sitting there. It's now bolted in so time to start messing with the wiring.

That's about same dash as in my Tahoe. Mine doesn't have the flat cup holder on the pass side though, they started putting pass side air bags in 98.

I wish this one had the pass air bag. I'll get most of the wiring done tomorrow. I am having horrible luck finding the pinouts for the dash clusters.
