I know I am a day early.  We have two of the Grandchildren today, and won't see them for a little while.

The wife made lunch for them.........  A spice cake,   that was actually a meatloaf with pink mashed potaoes for icing.

Also a plate of spaghetti and meatballs,   which was actually cupcakes covered with piped icing layered to look like spaghetti. The sauce was strawberry jelly. and the meatballs were the Ferrero Rocher candies.

We decided to eat dessert first.

The look on the 10 yr. old grandsons face was priceless. He really thought he was getting cake!    The 8 yr. old granddaughter just grinned ear to ear.

When we brought out the "spaghetti "  they were suspicious but enjoyed the April Fools joke being played on them.

Actually they ate pretty good for a change.  They can't wait to tell everybody.         Rick

Now that's pretty funny. Grandma and grandpa had a good time with that. In the future you know there will be a time when the conversation goes something like this ...... " (laughter)  ..... remember that time when we were at grandma and grandpas and they made cake and spaghetti ..... (more laughter) ....... followed by yah, those were some good times ...... "          Thanks.                                                                                                                                                       Roger
