I am not an expert on Olivers, so what about the price on this one.

Yes, and I'd snap it up in a heartbeat, if only you were closer.

lol no its not they say that only 351 Olivers were made. Josh Deaven knows the number as he has a few but I'm not sure what the number is.

Wow, I guess they have went up a bunch. To me, that's way over priced.. IMHO

They've gone up, Brian.  I know a guy locally who would pay that kind of money for one just because it says Oliver.  He said he's seen a couple sell recently, and all went for more than $1500.

I wouldn't pay it, but I guess somehow these Olivers have become quite the collectable.

Seems high to me.

I really like the looks of the Oliver GTs, and an Oliver would be the only non-Bolens tractor I would consider buying, but not at that price. :D :D :D

I have a snow blower that has the Oliver colours that would fit the Oliver tractor that is for sale. Even when I took stuff apart for repairs it was green underneath, not just a paint over. Noel

I just couldn't see this kind of $$ for a repaint.  I would think the high collectible value would be in a rare machine, in it's original skin, especially for some of these Minnie's and Olly's where they are Jake look alikes.  If a fresh repaint anyway, I'd save the $$ and drive a clone.
