The tractor pictures. The 3 point lever is broke and the seat pan was cut. But it was defiantly taken care of. I will not paint this one I will buff and wax

The valve on my 1650 was the same way. I disassembled the valve and took the shaft to a good machinist. He parted off the broken piece and made a new one to go on it. Center drilled the shaft and tapped it 10X32, same for the new piece. A little bit of red loctitie and we were done. Its been holding well for 2 years now.

You could also weld it up and drill it back out.

Sweet thanks. My screw up for the day I sold the center pulley a few weeks ago because I didn't think I needed it. Well I do. So I will buy one on epay. I am rebuilding 6 spindles to have spares. So I will install all new parts. I will also need to buy 54# timed belts and blades. Then I am ready to rock and roll.

Working on the 3 point install. I will paint and install everything over the next week or so.

Ebay has blades for the 48. I didn't realize my rear discharge deck was a 54 in till I started digging into it.

I used some 18 1/2 inch blades with a 3/4 inch center hole. I made spacers fro each blade to take the center hole to 5/8, thats what my spindle bolts are. The shear pin holes did not line up so I tack welded the blades to the holders. That seems to be working pretty good, the welds break when i find rocks in the grass. Next set of blades I think I will try drill out for the shear pins, couldnt drill the blade holder , its hardened.

I will try to get the numbers off the blades in the next day or so.

I have 1 spindle rebuilt. I thought I had more oil seals but I dont, I will get it at Napa. I have 5 more to rebuild. I am soaking the spindles in vinegar and clean them up as I go. I bought a new center spindle. I am hoping to have it mowing by Tuesday or Wednesday.......

Napa has the oil seals, so on my way home I will pick them up. I like it when a plan comes together

I have rebuilt all my spindles, installed the new center pulley and my good outside pullies. I have only 1 belt. No one has them so it's a special order. Next weekend I could be mowing

The tractor is patiently waiting

From one of our members (Mac102004). A cross reference page for the belts. The last ones I got were gates off of amazon.

I ordered the gates from Amazon earlier today. I was frustrated, I wanted to mow this afternoon. I put new plugs in the Snapper, runs strong

I am buying a set of spool valves from another 1855. I will figure out how to fix the one and do a 3 valve spool.

My newest problem. I ordered a belt for the 54" deck. I just got notified that the manufacturer has to make more and I won't see my belt till middle of July. Does any one have a good used 54" deck belt they can sell me. I have the deck already to go but the one dang belt
