Well the blades are toasted. They are great except for the tips. It looked like it went out of time.

I did get my pto switch today, got that installed. I also tightened the belts more.

Yeah, looks like they jumped time.  For me, I just beat them back flat with a sledge hammer, sharpen, and go again.  I'm not sure that's in the maintenance manual, but it mostly works.

The sale is Canceled, just doesn't want to run. I am going to buy a carb kit, and do a complete tune up. I hate selling things when things are not right so I will make it right.

I think the best thing to do with the fuel pump is put a little electric Facet pump on it.  They have one sized and designed for little carb use.  It allows alot less cranking before the engine fires.  Kirk's engines sells them (google them).

I got it up and running great, runs like a champ. I just realized it's not charging, I need to look into that. Still for sale, I have to sell 2 or 3 tractors to make room in the garage

I just watched the video of the hydraulic test when you had it on the jack stands.  It looks like you didn't have a battery installed?  If you used a battery charger to start the engine and didn't unplug the voltage regulator (small aluminum looking finned box), then it's mostly likely fried.

I had jumper cables. I have never used a battery charger to start a tractor. I ended up selling it today. Went to a good home. I will be bringing the second 1855 to the lime light in a week or two. I have to get the garage cleaned out. I need to refinish a piano.

Glad that it went to a good home.  It was tempting me to come down and get it!  I can't wait to see the next 1855.
