Thanks to our good friend & member here on the forum GL Grumpy I received this today. Recently we were talking about how converting an MTD 990 Hydro from lever to foot control would be nice he sent me this. He believes it was from a Bolens but no matter I think it's going to be an easy conversion. It's well made & I like the fact that it angles outward....looks to be more comfortable this way compared to others that are straight forward.

I know he said free but I will be refunding his shipping at least. I have bought parts from members on here at very minimal costs to me & I have done the same. These things are not only what makes this forum so good but during these times that we all are living in we sometimes wonder do people still do acts of kindness. Thanks again GL.

Jim, I'll be watching this build closely as I am working on my own conversion to a foot control on my 990. Thanks for sharing.

He must have got tired of tripping over it. It was just in the way, you know.
