Finally found a place to chat about my various Gravely machines. So far I have 2 4 wheel tractors I am restoring a 12 and a 16G both have 50" decks. I love these things and cannot believe how overbuilt they are. Motors are done and I am about a week away from painting them both.

As requested, here are a couple of pictures. I recently made a nice purchase of 2 L's one is a 1974, 7.6 custom and the other was a 1965 L8 both turned out to be swiftomatics with 30" mower and brush hog and a sulky got em for $300 didn't even realize they were swiftomatics until I got em home. They will go nicely with the tiller, hiller and the steerable I already had. Also picked up a Pro 50 that day for $150.00 sorry to say the deck was full of holes and I had no more room in the garage so it now sits on various shelves in my garage. Nice thing was the hour meter showed about 3000 hours and when I got her home and checked out the M18 Kohler it was obvious she had been repowered so now I have a spare M18. I may put into the 12G I am restoring and make it a 16G. just need to get the PTO on the 16g to disengage, don't want to have to tear that tranny apart. Just about ready to prime the two 4 wheen tractors. This will be my first attempt at painting with anything but a spray bomb. Damn primer and paint is gonna run over $400, for a gallon of each as well as hardner. I will post more pictures soon.
