There is nothing wrong with the 811GT. It's a tough little tractor. AC and Simplicity built a number of tractors with vertical shaft engines, all quality machines, but they just Do not command the following that the tractors with horizontal shaft engines do.

that was my first tractor . bought it broken . its still broken mainly because I cant find any manuals for it but also because I found my B-212 with hydrolift and the poor 811 just gets ignored ....

Maybe this will help. 6100 series and 800GT series are essentially the same tractors under the skin.
