This is just, well, WRONG!!!!!  Picked up a new gt with tiller, got a large pile of chicken manure raked up, aged from 1 to 3 yrs, lots of straw, and seeds all sorted.  Picked up a new incubator, ready to hatch out 30-35 new chicks, really got the spring fever started.  We went from 70 the past weekend to snow warnings for the next few days.  Everything is covered is that fluffy white..... snow.  This is just cruel!!!  Even took a few hours to shine up my moto bike from winters dust.  It's just wrong I tell ya, just... WRONG!!  Mother nature hates me.

Here in Northern Michigan it's been nice as far as snow or rain goes. Temps are expected to get back into the 30s again in the next few days. No rain as of today. Would like to see a bit of warm rain to clear the rest of the snow and frost from the yard and garden so I can get it tilled and get a couple pickup loads of old cow manure on it to till in for the summer.Sorry to hear about the snow. Looks like spring hasn't heard that it's not around the corner anymore it's supposed to be here already.  Good luck.                                                                                                                                                                                                    Roger

Been snowing all morning here.
I make some derogatory comments about Mother Nature. Life will go on.

What do you expect for the Dakootas in March?  You must have just moved in there from 'Bama.

Yea, it's snowing here now in NY, but we're not getting much. It's supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow and March is always unpredictable. Since the Allis is back together and most of the snow is gone, I went out in the woods this morning to get a couple of loads of dry oak. Luckily the ground froze back up, so I didn't have to worry about mud. winter has been too long as usual and I'm more than ready for spring!

Yup, I woke up to about 4" of white stuff this morning. Not cold, just below freezing, but still not pleasant.

Not unusual around here to get snow in april, or even May sometimes.

Same here, stores have not been able to get any chickens in.  They had 10 yesterday and I bet they were gone shortly after I walked out.  I have French Black Copper Marans.  I'm talking to a breeder on the east coast about delivery of some blue egg layers and some easter eggers.  I will hatch out probably 20 or so of mine at the same time.  The marans are great eating, but they take sooooo long to mature.
