Wow, what a tribute ! Needed to wipe the tears away so I could type. My dad was landing in Europe about that time. Thanks for finding this and sharing.

Roger.

Don't know if it is true or not but way above and beyond for a 11 year old. Maybe he'll be President one day and support all our troops.

It's sad to say, most of our Congressmen & women likely wouldn't appreciate this young man as much as any of us regular folks do.  What a great young man!    And what a great bunch of men & women he honored!

"For those who fought for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never know"...BUT; it may take a young man's tribute to those who have fallen, to open ones eyes and heart. His determination and vision just blew me away...period! Thank you very much for sharing!!!!! And if I may share with you, I still get to meet with WW II veterans. Open(or hold) the doors for them as they enter using a cane, walker or wheel chair. To shake their hands is like "living history" in our midst. To see other era Vets to embrace them and thank them for their service is second to none!

I needed to see this video that jolted through my soul!!!

Want to know what WWII was really like ? Next time you see a Veteran from that time period, thank them and sit sit down with him or her buy them a coffee and in an hour you will learn a lot more than you thought you knew about their fight for our freedom. I even try to do that once in awhile for our veterans of all the wars. It makes them feel appreciated and their sacrifices worth it. May God Bless all our Veterans and may he bless this awesome young man and his family.

......We celebrate this day … we honor veterans today … because we know that without them, there would be no “land of the free” … (unknown)

They would if they got a photo op out of it.

I just finished reading "Killing Patton by Bill O' Reilly. It's a must read. . .   and an eye opener.
